Dominique Deschamps

Dominique joined KBC Securities in 2019 as Co-Head of M&A. With close to 15 years of relevant experience, Dominique has a broad and extensive experience in M&A, Corporate Finance & Equity. Over that period, Dominique has closed more than 35 deals across the product spectrum.

Prior to joining KBC Securities, Dominique spent more than 5 years as Head of M&A at Lhoist where he originated and executed a number of buy-side/ sell-side cross-border assignments. Prior to Lhoist, Dominique spent 8 years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the Corporate Finance and M&A teams in London. Over time, Dominique has gained transaction experience on all continents and in sectors such as industrials, metals & mining, specialty chemicals, shipping, consumer goods and TMT.

Thanks to the experience gained in both the advisory and corporate environments, Dominique has developed a good understanding of family-owned or private entities as well as of listed entities.

Dominique is a Civil Engineer from Ecole Polytechnique (ULB), a graduated from Solvay Brussels School (ULB) and holds a MBA from IESE Business school.
