KBC reaches financial close for the Storm Rumillies wind farm
KBC has reached financial close for the bilateral financing of the Storm Rumillies onshore wind farm, following the earlier close of Storm Mourcourt in November 2025. Both transactions were arranged by the Project Finance Team and support the continued collaboration with Storm, Epicofund and TINC – The INfrastructure Company.
They also reflect KBC’s commitment to sustainable finance and to contributing to Belgium’s renewable energy objectives. Storm Mourcourt and Storm Rumillies, located in the municipality of Tournai (Hainaut, Belgium), will each consist of three turbines. The participation of CLEF (Coopérative pour les Énergies du Futur) further reinforces the local anchoring and community involvement in both projects. Once operational in 1Q27, Storm Mourcourt is expected to generate green electricity for approximately 6,220 households.
Storm Rumillies is scheduled to begin operations in 3Q27 and will supply renewable power to around 8,500 households. More information is available in the public updates from Storm and Epicofund:
