Renner Energies finances 4 onshore wind projects

We are delighted to announce that the KBCS Project Finance Team reached another important milestone. This time by financing of 4 onshore wind projects in support of our client Renner Energies.These projects include windfarms located in Tongeren, Dilsen, Gesves, and Walcourt, totaling 47 MW. The windfarms in Dilsen and Gesves are already operational and are producing enough green electricity to power approximately 16,000 Belgian households each year. The construction of the Walcourt windfarm will kick off this summer, with plans to generate electricity for 9,500 households. Furthermore, the Tongeren-Oost windfarm is currently under construction and is expected to be operational by this summer.

Renner Energies (formerly: Windvision) is a reputed renewable energy developer and has been acquired by Blackrock mid-2020. The last couple of years, Renner Energies has been focused on expanding internally as externally in France.
