Financial close for five schools within the Aurora Consortium

We are proud to announce that we have reached financial close for five schools within the bilateral financing of school cluster GO!2. This milestone supports the Aurora Consortium, comprising our valued clients and investors : Epicofund, PMV, Rebel, Groep Van Roey, and DEMOCO.

School cluster GO!2 is a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) project focused on the design, construction, financing, and maintenance (DBFM) of a total of seven schools. Following the successful close of the pilot project in Kasterlee in September 2024, we have now completed the financing for schools in Duffel, Kruibeke, Knesselare, Waregem, and Leopoldsburg—providing modern infrastructure for approximately 1,700 pupils.

For this transaction, KBC acted as sole arranger, original lender, hedge counterparty, and account bank. We are committed to playing a key role in building better school infrastructure for future generations.
